Step 1 – Preparation:

Prepare a spray mist bottle with warm water and add one tiny drop of liquid dish soap.

Clean surface with a soft clean cloth and  household alcohol.

Completely wipe the area at least 3 times to ensure

removal of oils and waxes for proper adhesion of your vinyl decals.

(Caution – Avoid direct sunlight and do not apply on hot surfaces)

Step 2

Remove Decal-Backing Paper by placing the decal face down on flat surface.

Lift a corner and roll back. Avoid touching the adhesive side of the decal.

The topside of the decal's transfer tape will remain on at all times until the

end of the installation!

Step 3

Lightly mist exposed adhesive side of decal with spray bottle.

Step 4

Lightly mist surface area where decal is to be applied.

Step 5

Pick up decal being careful not to allow it to fold onto it self. Hold it tight at both ends. You are now ready to apply your decal.  Holding it taut at all times, lay decal in place. You may slide or move the decal in proper position at this time. Now with your spray bottle, SOAK the top of the decal. This helps it to stretch, mold, and conform to the bends in Tank or Fender

Step 6

Use a squeegee or similar flat plastic tool and begin to lightly wipe over the surface in a up and down motion while working your way left along the decal. (The up and down motion is important especially on any curved surface to avoid bubbles and or wrinkles). This will set the decal in place. Once the decal is completely installed on the surface (do not remove the top transfer tape), continue to wipe all areas of decal. Press firmly to squeegee out any water.

Step 7

Wait 10 minutes.  Now spray the top of the decals transfer tape and soak the surface again. This will help loosen the transfer tape from the decal for easy removal.

Step 8

Now it is time to remove the top decal transfer tape. Grab a corner and begin to slowly roll back the top tape off the installed decal. If the decal begins to lift with it, lay it back down and re-squeegee and wait an additional 10 minutes. Keep in mind colder weather will take longer for decal to Dry. With a clean cloth lightly dry off the decal and area around the decal

Step 9

Wait 24 hours for Decal to completely dry before Waxing.

Finally, apply a light coat of wax to the decal and surrounding area. Lightly buff to a complete shine being careful to avoid catching any tips or edges of the decal.
